The founder’s journey:

Raja Paneerselvan was born in 1964 in Tamil Nadu, India. He dreamed of becoming a lawyer and educator, but an unfortunate accident during his convalescence period led him to think of his life in terms of working for the welfare of women and children. He founded the Society for Rural Development Promotion Services in 1992, and under his leadership the organization grew to become one of the leading NGOs in India. Paneerselvan passed away in 2014, but his legacy continues on through the work of SRDPS.

Message from the director:

SRDPS home for women and children is immensely pleased to publish the annual report for the year 2020 - 2021. SRDPS was established in 1990 with a broad vision of serving humanity and has successfully completed 31 years of its journey. In 2020 - 2021, SRDPS extended its social service in many ways. In particular, a few infants from the regions of Tirupattur, Vellore and Ranipet who were found without care were brought to our home. They are provided with life care and support. Also, women victimized under various conditions and old females are being supported by SRDPS.
