Ganesh Chaturthi is a major Hindu festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom and prosperity. Every year, people at the Society for Rural Development Promotion Services in Tirupattur worship Lord Ganesha and seek his divine blessings. They believe that by doing so, their desires will be fulfilled and their problems will be solved.

Ganesh Chaturthi is observed in many parts of India with great enthusiasm. The festival lasts for ten days, during which devotees offer prayers and sweets to Lord Ganesha. On the last day, a grand procession is held in which a huge idol of Lord Ganesha is taken through the streets.
